Returns & Damages Policy

Effective Date: April 15, 2026

All returns must be pre-authorized. To request a return, please contact us at support@solvanehome.com. Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

All approved returns require a Return Authorization (RA) and are subject to a 15%–30% restocking fee. Original shipping and handling charges, as well as return shipping costs, are non-refundable.

Solvane Home reserves the right to approve or deny any return request at its sole discretion.

Most issues can be avoided by doing research before making your purchase. Please take advantage of our comprehensive site, read pre-purchasing tips, check model specifications and installation guides, or contact our appliance experts for more information.

Sometimes issues cannot be avoided, so here are some tips to help you if they arise:

Damaged Shipments

Inspect your appliance before accepting delivery

It is very important to inspect your product thoroughly before accepting and signing for it. Appliances are delicate and contain sensitive components. Check for both internal and external damage.

If damage is found, notify us immediately by calling (803) 931-4778.

If your item was shipped via UPS, contact UPS at 800-PICK-UPS with your tracking number to report the damage.

If you notice damage or a defect after delivery, please click here to log into your account and report the issue.

Defective Merchandise

Most products include a one-year parts and labor warranty. Refer to your product manual or contact a product expert for details.

If your product is defective upon arrival, notify us within 24 hours of receiving it. If the defect is discovered after 24 hours, please contact the manufacturer directly. Manufacturer contact information is included in the product literature.

Note: Most manufacturers require one service call to diagnose the issue.

Missing or damaged parts may be eligible for free replacement under the manufacturer’s warranty. Please contact the manufacturer directly for replacement parts.

Important Notes:

  • If a residential appliance is installed in a commercial setting, the warranty is void.
  • If a unit is taken outside the continental United States, the warranty is void.
  • We follow all manufacturer warranties and policies.
  • We are not responsible for installation or shipping costs when replacements are authorized.

In the event of a return or refusal, shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Free shipping, rebates, and promotions are voided upon return.

All returns must be shipped prepaid to the original warehouse using the original shipping method. Freight items must be returned via freight carriers to ensure safe delivery.

We do not accept returns on air conditioners, special order items, or accessories.

General Return Policies at a Glance

  1. Returns (new in box only) are accepted within 15 days of delivery
  2. Damaged items should not be accepted upon delivery
  3. After accepting delivery, you are responsible for all damage claims
  4. You must contact us within 24 hours if your item is damaged or not working
  5. Contact the manufacturer if the product becomes defective after first use
  6. All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number
  7. Returns without an RA will not be accepted
  8. All returns are subject to up to a 35% restocking fee
  9. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable
  10. Items must be returned in brand-new condition with all packaging and materials
  11. Items moved from their original delivery location are not eligible for return
  12. Returns must use the same shipping method as delivery
  13. Items that do not fit due to incorrect measurements are not eligible for return
  14. Special order items are not eligible for return
  15. Claims for missing or damaged items must be reported within 2 days
  16. Installed, used, or plugged-in items are not eligible for return
